A family's journey over a century of time
Peter & Anna Belgrade Film Festival
Our late father, the artist and pianist Borislav Bogdanovich rescued our mother Herma and her immediate family before WWII erupted in Europe. He was able to get the family Exit Visas from the Former Yugoslavia for the 1939 NY World's Fair.
They never returned to their homeland and became naturalized citizens of the USA.
Peter and I are first generation in the United States, born and raised in NYC.
